Isaiah 46

Bel bows down.

They stoop and they bow down together.

“Listen to me, house of Jacob,

Even to old age I am he,

“To whom will you compare me, and consider my equal,

Some pour out gold from the bag,

They bear it on their shoulder.

“Remember this, and show yourselves men.

Remember the former things of old;

I declare the end from the beginning,

I call a ravenous bird from the east,

Listen to me, you stubborn-hearted,

I bring my righteousness near.
